Who doesn’t love the eye shadow from Urban Decay?

Every makeup lovers have been yearning to get their hands on this beauty product.

Urban decay has never fail to impress us with their wide variety of colours from shimmery, satin and matte. The longevity of their eyeshadow formula is breathtaking. They are highly pigmented and easy to blend! You just need a swipe of them and KABOOM, they last even longer with a little effort.

A few months ago, Urban Decay posted a sneak peek to what was coming from their latest collection. It was the Naked Smoky palette! Since the first time I laid my eyes on this beauty, I was beyond amazed at the packaging, and of course; the shades!

The packaging is very unique and the letters are made out of metal chrome, which makes it more elegant and cool as well. After it was launched on the Urban Decay’s website, I couldn’t help myself but to order it as soon as it was launched on the Urban Decay’s website.

The Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette costs $54. It is the perfect kit for neutral smoky eye look. It comes with double-ended brush; a tapered crease brush on one end and a smoky smudger brush on the other for ease application.

The packaging it self is made out of translucent plastic hard case with smoke illustration behind the chrome letters.

Compared to the other famous Urban Decay’s Naked palettes that have warm-toned colors, Naked Smoky offers 12 pigmented cool-toned colors such as; rich browns, taupes and deep black. The palette consist of 4 shimmery shades, 4 satin finish and 4 aremattes, and on top of that, it features 9 never before seen colors.

From left to right are high, dirtysweet, radar, armor, slanted, dagger, blackmarket, smolder, password, whiskey, combust and thirteen.

On my right eye = Whiskey (above crease), High (brow bone), Armor (inner and middle lid), Smolder (outer crease), Black Market (outer lid, outer lower lash line and inner lower lash line), Sephora black eye pencil and (lower waterline), NYX liquid crystal liner in crystal silver, and Stila liquid eye liner (winged eyeliner) –With Primer.

Based on the overall ratings, I would give a 3.5 out of 5 stars as the eyeshadow formula of this new palette is a lot drier and chalky compared to the other previous Naked Palettes. This new formula is a lot harder to apply which mean less color pay-off and the shimmery eyeshadow also have many fall out. Meanwhile, I am very satisfied with this palette and I still think that the Urban decay’s eyeshadow is very pigmented compared to the other Brands.
